Mike Mendelsohn provides clients with valuable insights to improve their financial position. He enjoys communicating with clients to ensure proper tax planning and thinking outside the box to solve tax challenges, demonstrating a strategic, proactive approach that has earned him the title of Super CPA from Virginia Business magazine.
During his college years, Mike helped his team win first place in a national tax competition. He later had the opportunity to work as the Graduate Assistant for a well-known tax professor at William and Mary. From that point on, he knew that a career in tax planning and compliance was the right fit.
Mike is an active member and previous treasurer of the Rotary Club of Oyster Point, and has served on the Hampton Roads Academy Alumni Council. When he’s not serving clients, Mike and his family can be found enjoying time together at James River Country Club.
